An ex-Army officer, Robert now runs a successful business in Somerset, together with his wife, Paula. Robert has dived all over the world, searching for the ideal spot. Then he discovered the Philippines! Now, having explored a fraction of the myriad dive sites available there on many, many visits; he wants to share this undiscovered treasure with other like-minded divers. Avoiding concrete hotels with bland, international food; he hopes to see the profits from tourism go straight into the local economy. He firmly believes that only by putting money back into local communities can we persuade them of the logic of protecting the fragile marine environment. |

Paula claims to be the brains & the good looks behind the team. We think that leaves just Robert to do all the hard work! But seriously – Paula is our ecological conscience. Nothing in life is perfect – but Paula will examine each of our projects in detail to be certain that we are choosing the best possible environmental option in each case. She loves the natural feel of many of our best resorts – the rattan walls & palm-leaf roofs; the friendly smiling staff, often accompanied by a small child or two; the local food, cooked from the best of local ingredients; the wooden outrigger dive-boats. Above all, she loves Philippine mangoes – claimed to be the best in the world! |

Jan’s passion for diving started when he became a manager for a popular dive resort in the Philippines. After his first dive, way back in 1998, he has been diving ever since. Since then, he has logged over 3000 dives in and around the Philippines. He is now a PADI Scuba Instructor and regularly conducts dive and adventure tours. Now, with the creation of Go Dive Philippines, Jan is anxious to share his passion for the underwater world to all of our guests. He is not only an excellent dive leader but is very personable and will try to do everything to accommodate any request of our guests. He looks forward to helping our guests discover the beauty of the Philippines both topside and underwater. He will be there to welcome you from your first step off the airport to your hesitant departure. |

Jojo doesn’t want to take for granted the wealth and beauty of the Philippines’ marine life. After taking an intro dive early in 2004 he got hooked on diving. With dive sites just two hours from Manila, he spends as many weekends as he can diving. He believes that tourism is the best way to help the Filipinos and hopes that Go Dive Philippines will show the world the “WOW” in WOW Philippines. |

Heaven is the serial entrepreneur! He creates businesses that showcase Philippine talent and ingenuity. A former employee at a large multinational oil company, he was asked by the VP for Manufacturing to leave the company to start his own. He has not looked back ever since. He now runs several small businesses: a marketing services company, a technology company that specializes in satellite-based internet, electronic dip sticks and RFID, a pharmaceutical company (all legal and registered of course!) among others. Go Dive the Philippines, Inc. is an endeavour where he is hoping to share the beauty of the Philippines’ marine biodiversity with our guests. Down the road, he hopes he can showcase the beauty of the Philippines and its people to the world. |
